TorchNEWS: R18,000,000 Customer Telecom Savings… 2019 in Review

Twelve months and 30+ blogs later, we have arrived at the end of 2019… what a year it has been! From state capture to stage 6 load shedding, from droughts to floods…it seems South Africans need to be able to literally weather it all. Thankfully we are a resilient bunch and we won’t let anything get us down as the #Imstaying campaign has shown. The stellar win of the Super-Boks is a testament to the spirit of South Africa and its people and shows what can happen when we start working for our fellow people instead of just for ourselves.

I for one look forward to 2020, a greener planet, better leaders in business, somewhat improved politicians…and teleportation (I’m sure we are getting close).

 

And what a year it has been at Torch. We have been working very hard to produce results for our customers while adapting to the ever-changing landscape of doing business in the technology sector. The 4th industrial revolution (time will tell how much is hype and how much is not) has certainly produced some interesting topics of discussion. At Torch, we started the year with discussions about automation and bot-workers…now we have successfully produced our very own bot called J.E.S.S. (Just an Effective Support System)…go Torch engineers!

We will continue to develop technology services that help humans do their work easier and better.
