R10 million worth of Telco Billing Credits!
I think we can all agree that the beginning of the Lockdown, which seems like a lifetime ago, was a mad scramble to get employees enabled to work from home through changes to mobile data packages and APNs. In some customers this resulted in negotiated changes to the Telco provider billing which in some cases were not fully implemented resulting in some astronomical bills.
Although not done in bad faith, the lack of capacity to follow through in implementing correct tariffs by the providers has created significant billing errors.
Just for one customer, Torch has identified over R10 million in incorrect billing From March – August 2020. Through our analysis and working closely with the Telco Providers internal teams to date R2.3 million worth of Credit Notes have been received. Torch will continue working with the Telco provider to ensure the continued verification of billing and passing of remaining credits awarded on an ongoing basis.
Savings Initiative Contract Award
Torch is please to announce the signing of a Savings Initiative contract with an existing customer that provides insurance services to personal, commercial and corporate clients. The Torch Services team are already doing Administrative Outsource for the customer, and now our Consulting team is allowed onto the field too.
